Club CDL employs the newest and most advanced method to teach
tennis, the ‘Progressive Tennis’ method. The ‘Progressive
Tennis’ method allows the student to progress rapidly, no
matter their age or playing ability. It uses different sized courts,
balls and racquets to ensure that every student is given the best
opportunity to enjoy the game while growing in skill.
The junior recreational program at Club CDL can be classified
under three different steps:
1- Mini-tennis (Age 4-6): Discovering
Tennis
• Develop motor skills, hand-eye coordination, stability,
etc.
• Learn basic technical skills for tennis
• Learn basic tactical skills
2-Intermediate Progression (Age 7-17):
Playing Points
• Mastering basic technique and tactics
• Identifying and changing ball trajectory
• Developing the ability to rally and play points; relative
to one’s skill level
3-Advanced Training (Age 7-17): Match-Play
• Expanding knowledge to more advanced technique and tactics
• Becoming adept at changing spins and pace
• Learning to play aggressively
Sport-Study
10 hours on court training per week
5 hours fitness training per week
Partnership with French and English schools
After school
4-6 hours on court per week
Private lessons for rapid improvement
Little Aces (Age 5-8)
3-4.5 hours on court per week
Participation in tournaments
